Category-Level Faceted Search Configuration

Even when store-wide facet search is enabled, you can override it per category.

To do this, go to the main navigation and click:
Products → Manage Categories → View & Edit Categories -> Display Settings

Disable Facet Search for this Category: When toggled on, this disables faceted filters for the current category even if it is enabled globally.

Filter Panel on Front-End

When faceted search is enabled for a category, you'll see the filter controls displayed above the products on that category page. If you click any of these buttons, the filter menu will slide out to customize your search. The "Price Range" facet will always be present by default. However, the other facets will be shown based on the attributes you defined on ProductCart for you apparel products. For example, most clothing stores will have attributes like color and size. The facets in the filter will only reflect the products in that category and sub categories within that parent category.
