With ProductCart v5.x, every ProductCart store has the ability to have a mobile store. To access the settings for this feature, select Settings > Store Settings > Mobile Commerce Settings.
Turn Mobile Site On/Off
This feature can be turned on or off within your Admin Control Panel.
From the Mobile Commerce Settings page, you will be able to select "Turn Store ON" or "Turn Store OFF."
Selecting "Turn Store ON" will allow your ProductCart store to detect the mobile device from which it is being accessed and adjust accordingly to the mobile display. This allows for easier use when customers are shopping and purchasing via mobile device.
Selecting "Turn Store OFF" means the mobile device will simply display the traditional website view you would normally see when the store is accessed on a desktop.
Once you select "ON" or OFF", be sure to click the "Save Settings" button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Company Logo
If your mobile site is turned on, you'll want to make sure the mobile site is displaying your company logo. This is the logo you uploaded under Settings > Store Settings > Store & Display Settings > Company Details. The text in the "File Name" box under "Company Logo" on the "Company Details" page should be the same as the text in the "File Name" box under "Company Logo" on the Settings > Store Settings > Mobile Commerce Settings page.
If not, copy the text from the box on the "Company Details" page to the box on the "Mobile Commerce Settings" page.
If you'd like to change your logo, you can do so on the "Company Details" page under Store & Display Settings. Be sure to copy the file name that appears in the box there to the "File Name" box on the "Mobile Commerce Settings" page as well.
NOTE: The logo image is uploaded to the "/pc/catalog" folder on the server.
Display Settings
Mobile sites display menus differently than desktop sites. ProductCart uses a slide menu that "slides" across the screen when you click on the Menu button. Under this section, you can choose what links to include in the slide menu.
