USPS Ground Advantage Shipping Install with Instructions

This install package will update ProductCart to add USPS Ground Advantage as a shipping option. This upgrade is compatible back to v5.3.0.  All ProductCart clients who have the Support & Updates Plan will see the this upgrade through the Control Panel main navigation under HELP > Check for Updates.

NOTE: Due to the new USPS rate structure for First Class Postage, it is recommended that you DISABLE it and enable Ground Advantage in its place.

How to install

1.  Back up your site's files and database first!
2.  After downloading, you’ll see a file set for v5.3 or v5.4 Plus. Determine which install set is applicable for your site (based on your current version).
3.  Rename 'pcadmin' in the install set you're using to whatever your admin directory is named.
4.  Overlay the update files over your site files.
5.  ** OPTIONAL ** If you have a USPS account and wish to enable Ground Advantage then you will need to go to that area of the Control Panel and enable it.

Once installation is complete, you’ll see USPS Ground Advantage as a shipping option under SHIPPING > ADD or VIEW SHIPPING OPTIONS > United States Postal Service (USPS) > Click “Edit” after Active Shipping Options. Check the box to add this to your list of shipping options for customers, then click the “Submit” button to save changes.
