Synchronizer Update Instructions
Please complete the following steps in order:
During the final step a script will run to check for common errors. If no errors are detected you will receive a success message.
- Log into your ProductCart directory with FTP or Remote Desktop
- Backup the folder “pcadmin/QuickBooks/webservice/bin” (Note: The control panel directory may have been renamed from “pcadmin”.)
- Delete the contents of the folder “pcadmin/QuickBooks/webservice/bin”. DO NOT DELETE the backup you created in the previous step.
- Delete the contents of the folder “pcadmin/QuickBooks/webservice/Logs”.
- Upload the contents of the v1.08 zip file to their corresponding folders of your store
- Type the following URL into your browser “http://www.mydomain.com/pcadmin/QB_upd_v108.asp/” (Note: Replace mydomain with your domain name.)
- If you previously modified your Web.config file to use Classes, then you will need to re-add your Class now.
During the final step a script will run to check for common errors. If no errors are detected you will receive a success message.
